This project was a major remodel and restoration of a Bellingham House. Previous owners had completed tasteful first floor renovations and [bundle] was tasked with revisioning the upstairs into a suite of bedrooms, home office, sitting area and bathroom for a growing family.

The clients have Scandinavian ancestry and enjoy the clean modern look characteristic of Danish design. [bundle] used this minimal aesthetic as the pallet blending it with the character of the original house.

[bundle] made minimal changes to the floor plan, only moving two interior walls to make the bathroom and office the correct proportions. The low ceiling was vaulted to give a sense of spaciousness and built-in millwork was added strategically turning previously awkward unused space into much needed storage.
